Matt Bixenman

Matt is the Fairgrounds Site Manager overseeing daily operations of the Fairgrounds and Event Center. Born and raised on a farm in western Kansas, he brought his knowledge and passion for agriculture to the Arapahoe County Open Space Department in 2013. Matt has supported open space maintenance, the Event Center and the county fair before moving into his current role. He graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2007 with a B.S. in Health Promotion and a M.S. in Sports Administration. Matt previously worked as an Event Associate for the Orange Bowl Committee in Miami, FL before moving to Colorado.

Lexy Kingsbaker

Events and Business Development Supervisor

Lexy has always had a passion for events and Colorado tourism. She started out at the University of Northern Colorado where she received her B.A. in Recreation and Tourism as well as Communications. Since then she has worked for The Ranch in Larimer County, the Town of Estes Park and now Arapahoe County. Lexy is currently a member of several Colorado event and tourism associations and always does her best to stay relevant within the industry. She enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family and making the most of each day!

Jeff Hester

Jeff is a Colorado native with 6 years of experience working within the Arapahoe County Open Space Department. He graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BA in History and a minor in Journalism. Jeff previously worked in sales as a Business Development Manager before joining the County. He enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife and two kids.

Lindsey Friend

Lindsey specializes in making clients events come to life. From quinceaneras and weddings to trade shows and markets, she is excited to discuss your vision and walk you through the process to creating a successful event at our facility.

Originally hailing from Phoenix, Arizona and graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's in Tourism Management and Development, Lindsey has been enjoying all that Colorado has to offer since relocating in 2017. Her love for planning events in and outside of work is matched only by her love for traveling, craft beer, and a good true crime drama.

Jessica Hites

Jessica’s passion for event coordinating was sparked in 2009, and she has since been managing all types of events such as weddings, fashion shows, concerts, corporate fundraisers, tradeshows, and more. She graduated from QC Event Planning School in 2012 with an International Event and Wedding Planner Professional certification. Jessica loves connecting with new people. It’s so special for her to be part of making event dreams come to life, which ultimately creates lasting memories. On her free time, Jessica enjoys the company of her friends and family. She also treasures the great outdoors of Colorado or traveling to explore new breath-taking places worldwide.

Roxie Torres

Roxanna was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She moved to Colorado in 2008 and loves living here. She has been a customer service specialist for the past 15 years and enjoys helping others in both English and Spanish. She has a beautiful daughter who is her best friend and enjoys spending as much time with her as possible. During her free time, she enjoys road trips and exploring new places.

Ben Bastian

Ben has been a Facilities and Operations Technician at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds since March of 2016. Prior to working with Arapahoe County, Ben supported the PACE Center in Parker, Colorado and the Reading Fightin’ Phils in Reading, Pennsylvania. Ben graduated with a B.S. from Kent State University in 2013, majoring in Sports Administration and minoring in Business.

David Bergman

David was born and raised in Arapaho County and is excited to be serving his community at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds. He has worked for Arapahoe County for two years before transitioning to his current role & has many years of experience working in tourism. David has a diverse background that has allowed him to live and work in places such as Alaska, Hawaii, & New Zealand. When he's not working, he likes to spend his time gardening, working on home improvement projects and taking his dogs to the Cherry Creek dog park!

Glenn has lived in Colorado since 1989, with his wonderful wife, two sons and daughter. He is a Veteran and recently retired from UPS after 27 years. Glenn loves to hunt, fish and camp!
